Technical Name: Liposuction. Liposculpture is when it is associated with fat grafting, with unpredictable results, when the viability of the grafted fat. The Vibrolipoaspiração has results equal to the traditional form, second some works published in specialized magazines.
Part of body: abdomen, flanks (waist), culottes, knee, arm, double chin, between other regions of the body.
Objectives: treatment of localized fats (lipodystrophies). It is not indicated for treatment of obesity, due to the great relapse and inherent risks, such as hydroelectrolytic disorders, acute anemia, and thromboembolism. At most in areas up to 40% of the body, and up to 7% of body weight.

Recommended age: After 18 years.
Anesthesia: epidural with sedation to the lower half of the body (abdomen, flanks, etc.), or place with sedation for upper parts.
Duration of surgery: on average 1 to 2 hours.
Hospital stay: from 8 to 12 hours.
Scar: Discreet (5 to 8mm), usually hidden in natural folds of the body. With internal stitches, they absorb with 3 months.

Preoperative:
Laboratory examinations (Complete blood count, Coagulogram, Blood glucose, optional anti-HIV, Urine examination, E.C.G. and X-ray of the chest PA for over 40 years) and Medical photography. Avoid smoking 15 days before, at least. Do not use Acetyl Salicylic Acid (ASA, Aspirin) or anticoagulant medications, as well as Ginko Biloba, for 15 days before and 7 days after surgery.

Postoperative:
Day 1: Rest in bed with headrest raised to 30 degrees. Do not make sudden movements, such as rising quickly, to avoid fainting. Light diet at the end of the day. Medications taken at the hospital: Antibiotic (Keftaple 1g EV 12 / 12h), Antinflammatory (Profenid 01 amp 12 / 12h EV), Analgesic
(Tramal 01 EV amp if you have pain). Other usual medications for vomiting, stomach, antihypertensive.
2nd day: the dressing is renewed. Medications taken at home (WITH MEDICAL RECIPE): Antibiotic (Cefadroxil 500mg VO of 12 / 12h box with 8 comp.), Anti-inflammatory (Biprofenid 01 comp. VO every 12 hours), Analgesic (Dipirone or Tylex 30mg VO if Pain) and the usual. Bathe with neutral antiseptic soap, and put on the bandage after passing ecchymosis cream
(Vitamin K1 1% + Retinol 0.2% + Relux Protection 2% + Base Oil Free) 1x / day.
Day 7: Start Lymphatic Drainage (10 to 20 sessions).
Recovery time: 7 to 10 days.

Abdominoplasty
Breast reduction or augmentation mammoplasty.

Liposuction Care

Apply topical antiseptic (70% alcohol, colorless Merthiolate or Rifocin spray) over the scars, over the Micropore. Renew the micropore every 7 days, and withdraw with 1 month.
Use of Arnica, oral (20 drops 3 times a day) and cutaneous cream (Vit.K1 and Arnica) for bruises.
Sleep from dorsal decubitus (belly up), and exercises only after 1 month.
Keep the micropore on the scars until 1 month. In case of allergy withdraw.
Keep the brace for 1 month, and for longer activities up to 2 months.
Return to work or drive after 7 to 10 days.
Hiking, start after 30 days and physical activity with 45 days.
Do not pick up sun for at least 2 months. Photoprotector 30 FPS daily.
Edema: decreases 50% at 1 month and 100% at 3 months. Ecchymosis can last 1 month.
In case of high scar massage for one minute with Rosehip Cream at 15% + Tamoxifen Citrate 0,1%; Or 0.5% Triamcinolone + 0.5% Hydrocortisone. In case of reddish scar use Kelo-cote gel 2 times a day.
The scar may turn red for up to 6 months. In this case, do not expose yourself to the sun and avoid crustacean.
Return for one month, two, four, and six month reviews. Final return for photography and possible retouching with one year.
